Seven people were injured as a result of shelling in Dobropillа, Donetsk region. In the city, two administrative buildings were destroyed and seven apartment buildings were damaged.
Residents of Dobropill heard powerful explosions at two o’clock in the morning.
“My arms and legs were shaking, I was lying under the blanket with my back to the wall. A little elbow scratched and that’s it. Glass fell on me, that’s all,” says Raisa Leonidivna, a resident of Dobropillya.
Running out into the street, the residents of the burned-out house only had time to grab warm things. The fire engulfed entryway after entryway.
“One apartment immediately caught fire. Everything started from one. Apparently so. And the roof was gone,” eyewitnesses say.
Since night, rescuers have been trying to stop the fire, but their work is often interrupted by air alarms.
“Works to eliminate the fire have been temporarily stopped, everyone has been asked to move away from the place where the fire is now due to possible repeated shelling,” says correspondent Alyona Gramova.
Together with the injured, we also go to the shelter. Larisa, who last night counted more than a dozen explosions, cannot contain her emotions from the so-called special operation.
Seven apartment buildings were left without windows. So that people did not freeze at night, volunteers brought everything necessary to the place of shelling.
“Since windows and doors are broken, these are blankets. Since the bed is damaged by fragments, it is bed linen, pillows. Well, in order for people to be able to keep warm, boiling water, these are thermal mugs. And since there is no electricity in these houses, there are flashlights on solar batteries,” Yevhen Tkachev, a volunteer of the “Proliska” humanitarian mission, lists the items delivered to the victims.
After another shelling of the city, the locals began to plan evacuation. Only in the last month, the Russians attacked the city with missiles three times.
As a result of the Russian attack, seven people received minor injuries. The front is thirty kilometers away from the city.
