Policeman killed in airstrike during evacuation in Kharkiv region, colleague seriously injured

Roman Komarov, a policeman in the community relations sector of police department No. 1 of the Chuhuiv district police department, died on the spot. The injuries he sustained were considered life-threatening.

On June 28, the Russian Armed Forces launched four guided airstrikes on the outskirts of Kyrylivka, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. Police officers in a service car came under fire during the evacuation of civilians.

An inspector from the juvenile prevention sector was also seriously injured during the airstrike. The policewoman was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
