Poltava shelling damages educational institution

On the night of May 29, one of the educational institutions was damaged as a result of an enemy attack on Poltava.

More than 39 windows were broken in the building, and elements of the facade were also destroyed. This was reported by the Poltava City Council on June 29.

In total, destruction of varying degrees was recorded in the community at 18 facilities, including 16 private residential buildings. The attack also affected multi-story buildings, where 12 windows were broken, while another 26 were damaged in private households. The community counted 77 broken windows and two destroyed roofs.

The city is completing an examination of the consequences after the night attack. Damage was recorded at 46 community facilities. In total, 151 windows were damaged and two roofs in residential buildings were destroyed as a result of the shelling.

Two dogs were rescued from under the rubble at the site of the shelling of Poltava region. Two frightened dogs were trapped under the rubble. Despite the risk of the wall collapsing, the rescuers were able to get the animals out and hand them over to the medics.
