Russians take children from Kherson to sanatoriums in the temporarily occupied Crimea, where minor Ukrainians are kept in conditions close to captivity, and Ukrainian identity is persistently eradicated.
Abducted Ukrainian children are kept by the Russians in the sanatoriums “Zdravnytsia”, “Druzhba” and “Luchisty”, where the Russians beat them and mistreated them, including blackmailing them with food.
The Russians offered teenagers who turned 16 to stay in the occupied territories and get Russian passports in order to enter universities there. Ukrainian children, according to their statements, are Russians, and in Ukraine they have no prospects and no one needs them.
On April 10, 24 children who were illegally detained by the Russian military were returned home to the Kherson region. Children were interrogated for hours and filmed in propaganda reports for Russian TV channels.
