
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has released updated information on the consequences of the Russian airstrike on Kharkiv on July 7. The attack killed a man and injured 21 others, including five children.
According to the investigation, on the afternoon of July 7, Russian troops launched a series of airstrikes on Kharkiv.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, including a service station, cars, and other buildings.
The prosecutor’s office clarified that a man was killed as a result of the shelling, and 21 others were injured, including five children. The youngest victim is 10 months old.
Under the procedural leadership of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crime resulting in death of a person).
Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to document the consequences of another war crime committed by the Russian military.
On July 7, Russian troops dropped an aerial bomb on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. One person was killed, and six were also reported injured, but this figure later increased to 13 people.
