Since the middle of the last decade, when the Russians only began to seize Donbas and occupy Crimea, the practice of deporting minors and persons with disabilities has become commonplace. Nothing has changed since then.
According to the Center for Journalistic Investigations, on November 17, 2023, the residents of the psycho-neurological boarding house, which was located in the Dnipro region near Novaya Kakhovka before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, were forcibly moved to Penza. They were settled in the premises of a “charitable organization” owned by Sofia Lvova-Belova. Prior to this, the boarding school was placed for a certain time on the territory of Henichesky district, far from the Dnipro.
By the way, it was no accident that Lvova-Belova became a figure in this case. Her sister Maria is not only under the sanctions of Ukraine and the West, but also has to appear before the court in The Hague on charges of crimes against the civilian population. It is not surprising that the “charity fund” was also included in the black list of the National Security Council of Ukraine almost instantly.
