In addition to physical, moral and economic terror, racists even resort to biological terror. Thus, in the temporarily occupied territories, the Rashists began to actively inoculate the local population with the “domestic-produced” Sputnik-V vaccine, which, according to the developers, should act against COVID-19.
Even in Russia, many scandals were associated with this “drug”, because the vaccine cannot even receive a certificate due to non-compliance with proper laboratory practice. In addition, there are often cases of infection with the coronavirus immediately after vaccination, some of them are fatal. 58% of Russians are not ready to be vaccinated with the Russian vaccine.
Sputnik-V was “recognized” only in neighboring countries and those with political and economic ties to the Russian Federation, but it was banned in Ukraine and most civilized countries.
The Russians have taken “ambulance” vehicles from the occupied territories to transport their wounded – this was announced by the chairman of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, in the occupied territories, the Russians turned medical facilities into military hospitals, and now 90% of hospitals provide assistance exclusively to wounded occupiers. After that, they started the emergency aid system, writes the chairman.
“The occupiers loudly announced the delivery of 90 “ambulance” cars to hospitals in the occupied territories. However, they forgot to point out on camera that these cars are needed, first of all, to transport their “three hundred” to Crimea. And the civilians now have to call the “ambulance” wait for half an hour,” he said.
Fedorov also added that the equipped modern ambulances they used were taken away from the medics of the region and replaced with Russian-made machines.
“The cynicism of the occupiers knows no bounds. I believe: the next “medical reform” will be carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the occupied territories. And after it, the invaders will be sent home in the same scrap metal that they brought to our land,” wrote the Chairman of Melitopol.
After a full-scale attack on Ukraine on February 24, Russian troops captured part of the Zaporizhzhia region. On February 26, after fighting with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers entered Melitopol.
The Russians could not capture the regional center. They designated Melitopol as the “regional center” of the occupied part of the region.
More than 46,000 Ukrainians from the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian army were illegally deported to the annexed Crimea or to Russia. This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets. Cases of forced deportation of Ukrainians convicted by the occupation authorities from Crimea to Russia have also become more frequent.
At least nine illegally convicted Ukrainians were taken from the occupied Crimea to Russian regions, the authors of the Ukrainian media project “Grates” report.
According to journalists, convicts for their anti-war stance, as well as Crimean Tatars, in particular activists of the Crimean Solidarity organization, who helped Crimeans who were persecuted for political and religious reasons, were sent from the peninsula to Russian colonies.
“Human rights defender Server Mustafayev was transferred to the Tambov region, and the owner of the Crimean Tatar ethnic center “Salachyk” Marlena Asanova – to Mordovia. Citizen journalist Seyran Saliyev and father of 13 children Server Zekiryaev are now being held in Russian colonies in Tula region, activist Memet Belyalov was taken to Novgorod region, and Timur Ibragimov – to Ryazan region.
The head of the religious community from the Bakhchisaray district, Edem Smailov, is in prison in the territory of the colony in the Kostroma region,” lawyer Emil Kurbedinov reported.
Russian invaders are illegally deporting Ukrainian activists, journalists, and volunteers from the temporarily occupied territories of mainland Ukraine to Crimea, and then to Russia, human rights defenders report. Some are held in the Simferopol pre-trial detention center.
“Recently, the FSB even opened a new pre-trial detention center for this, No. 2. We know that this pre-trial detention center is designed for approximately 450 people. And we have already found at least 110 people who are being held there. These are precisely people from the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. In particular, Oleksandr Babich, the mayor of Holaya Prystan, and other representatives of local authorities are there,” said Olga Skrypnyk, head of the board of the Crimean human rights group.
Human rights defenders also note that soon illegally detained Ukrainians are going to be sent to Russia.
“Some of them are charged with terrorist articles. And such cases are considered only on the territory of the Russian Federation by a military court, that is why these people are taken to Rostov, several have already been taken away and in the future we see that others will also be taken to the territory of the Russian Federation,” said Olga Skrypnyk.
Volodymyr Zelenskyі instructed the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to develop draft laws to protect the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories.
The department is also working on new initiatives to support the indigenous peoples of Ukraine and increase sanctions pressure on Russia. In particular, this concerns the falsified accusations against the Crimean Tatars and the inhabitants of the peninsula.
“It is obvious that all our political prisoners, who are in places of detention due to falsified accusations from the occupiers with judgments of the occupation courts, will be released even without a review of the cases. Currently, at least 155 Ukrainian citizens have been arrested and sentenced in occupied Crimea. They are kept on the peninsula or in the Russian Federation. We are talking about the absolutely absurd accusations of “terrorism” leveled against Crimean Tatar activists, including Seyran Saliyev, Server Mustafayev, Emir-Usein Kuku, Servet Gaziyev and dozens of others,” said Tamila Tasheva, the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
According to the Ukrainian Ombudsman, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian occupiers have illegally deported 46,000 Ukrainian citizens from the occupied territories to the annexed Crimea and to Russia. More than 8 thousand of them are children. The real number of abducted people may be much higher, human rights activists suggest.
“We recorded several cases of removal of children from the Kherson region, including Kherson, while it was occupied. For example, in Yevpatoria, local residents reported that children were taken away, and judging by their stories, these were even children who were separated from their parents, as they complained and constantly asked to be taken to their parents,” Skrypnyk said.
Ukraine is also working on consolidating international support. Thus, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on human rights in occupied Crimea, which was supported by 82 states. The document contains new facts of gross violations of human rights by the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea in the context of full-scale Russian aggression. The updated document also extends the application of the resolution to all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
