Rescuers put out a fire in Sumy Region after shelling by the Russian Federation

Late in the evening of June 22, Russian troops attacked Shostkinskyі district of Sumy Region. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in the residential sector, which was extinguished by rescuers.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on the morning of June 23.

The State Emergency Service was informed that late on June 22, the Russians struck one of the settlements of Shostkinskyі district near the border with the Russian Federation.

Rescuers managed to save two houses and two commercial buildings.

Rescuers localized the fire in the residential sector, preventing its further spread and extinguished the fire, the State Emergency Service said.
