The so-called “Supreme Court of Crimea” has sentenced a resident of the temporarily occupied Bakhchysarai district to 15 years in prison for allegedly transferring funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of the Crimean TO.
The “court” established that the 56-year-old woman allegedly transferred more than 11,300 hryvnias to a bank account from April to October 2022 to raise funds for the benefit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“At the same time, the defendant was aware that the money would be used to oppose and harm the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the occupation structure said in a statement.
Thus, the Russian court “sentenced the guilty party” to 15 years in prison with a sentence to be served in a general regime correctional colony and further restriction of liberty for 1 year.
