Russia is organizing a genocide of civilians in the occupied territories of Ukraine. City dwellers are deprived of basic living conditions. It seems that the occupiers need an empty territory, without living people.
Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko said residents of the occupied city were forced to hunt pigeons to find food. Handy traps are used for this purpose. For example, a box with a support and a tied rope.
So, the birds, which were previously fed by visitors to the Drama Theater, have now become food.
“Mariupol residents are in the ghetto, without normal drinking water and food. They can’t leave the city. Collaborators staged real hungry games for Mariupol residents. They brought residents to the point where they have to hunt pigeons,” said Mayor Vadym Boychenko, bullying of people who before, before the war, lived a full life and did not know what hunger or lack of drinking water was.
As said, the director of the Center for Primary Health Care №3 O. Lazarenko, the consumption of pigeon meat for food is associated with a number of diseases.
“Pigeons are a breeding ground for many viral, bacterial and fungal infections. You can get histoplasmosis, encephalitis, ornithosis, salmonellosis, toxoplasmosis and other dangerous diseases,” Lazarenko explained. The doctor said that eating pigeons is especially dangerous for children and the elderly and can even be fatal.
