Rocket attack on Kharkiv: an infant was injured

An eight-month-old baby is among the victims of the missile attack by the Russian Armed Forces on Kharkiv, which they carried out on August 6. This is reported by the police of the Kharkiv region.

“As a result of the shelling, eight civilians were injured: six women, a man, an eight-month-old child,” the police said in a statement.

In turn, the employees of the prosecutor’s office provided more detailed information about the people who were injured as a result of the enemy’s rocket attack on the city center.

Only eight victims are known so far. As a result of the explosion, four people had an acute reaction to stress, others suffered various injuries. The condition of the injured is stable, their lives are not in danger. They have cuts, brain injuries, bruises.

Rocket attack on Kharkiv on August 6

On August 6, around 9:50 a.m., the Russian military hit the center of Kharkiv with an Iskander missile. Buildings, a polyclinic, facades, windows of residential buildings, at least 25 civilian cars were damaged.

Employees of investigative and operative groups, criminologists, specialists of explosives management provided assistance to citizens, removed fragments of ammunition and documented the crime against the civilian population.

After a rocket attack on the Shevchenkiv district of Kharkiv, rescuers managed to find and rescue five people from the rubble.

This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service: “A fire broke out at the site of the shelling. Emergency workers rescued 5 people from the rubble. Firefighters are continuing to extinguish the fire, emergency and rescue operations are continuing,” the report said.

Russian propagandists have already begun to justify the attack of the Russian Armed Forces on peaceful Kharkiv. According to their version, “Iskander” damaged not the polyclinic and residential buildings in the city center, but the “temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, which was allegedly located in the “Southern Regional Office of the State Border Service of Ukraine”.

As of 6 p.m., the number of people injured as a result of a rocket attack by Russian troops in the center of Kharkiv on the morning of July 7 has increased to 10 people, the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

“The number of victims has increased to 10. Two more women, aged 39 and 55, who were injured as a result of a rocket attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, sought medical help,” the message reads.
