Rocket attack on Odesa: the number of dead has increased to 10, including seven policemen

As a result of the Russian missile attack on Odesa on November 18, the number of dead increased to 10 people. Among them are seven policemen. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, announced this.

He also noted that a doctor and two local residents were among the dead.

On November 18, explosions rang out in Odesa. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the launch of a ballistic missile by the Russian Federation in the direction of the city. The regional military administration was notified of a hit to civilian infrastructure.

The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, said that as a result of the Russian missile strike, 39 people were injured, including four children aged 7 and 10 and two 11-year-olds.

Later he reported: “Currently, the number of wounded is already 47 people. The liquidation of the consequences of the Russian strike continues on the spot, and the fight for the lives and health of the victims continues in hospitals. In connection with the death of 10 people, tomorrow, November 19, a day of mourning has been announced in Odesa and the region,” he wrote.

High-rise buildings, university and administrative buildings were damaged.

The Air Force reported that on November 18, Russian troops struck Odesa with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Air defense shot it down, but the debris fell on the residential sector.
