
On the night of January 24, a Russian attack on Kyiv claimed the life of a worker at the Roshen confectionery factory.
The 48-year-old woman was in the production shop when drone debris hit the top floor of the building on Demiivska Square.
Two other workers received shrapnel wounds, according to the Patrol Police of Ukraine.
The attack began around 1 a.m. In the Holosiivskyi district, falling UAV debris caused a fire on the factory premises. Destruction was recorded on the top floor – the facade, roof were damaged, and many windows were broken.
The production shop is seriously damaged.
