Representatives of the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine visited the sites of Russian shelling in the Zolochiv community.
Denise Brown, humanitarian coordinator of the UN administration, visited the sites of Russian attacks in the Kharkiv region.
As reported in the village military administration, Brown inspected the ruins of the Skovoroda museum, a social dormitory, an ambulance building and visited the site of yesterday’s hits by Russian guided aerial bombs.
She asked the question several times: “Why are the Russians destroying infrastructure facilities and killing civilians?” This is an unacceptable disregard for the norms of international law, but Ukraine has been living with this for the third year already,” the report says.
The UN representative also met with a family that was blown up by an enemy mine. Mother and son died, daughter and father remained alive, but the girl needs to undergo several more difficult plastic surgeries.
Brown also held a meeting with the passengers of the social bus that runs on the Lyutivka-Vidrojenivske-Zolochiv route. This project is implemented with the support of the UN.
In addition, the Zolochiv community recently received a mobile dispensary from the United Nations, thanks to which patients from the most remote corners of the community will be able to receive medical care.
