Russia again attacked Zaporizhstal with ballistic missiles

Russia attacked the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant (Zaporizhzhia) of the Metinvest group with ballistic missiles.

According to the report of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Musa Magomedov, Ukraine may be left without metallurgy by spring. On the night of August 27, the Russians again struck Zaporizhstal. Five missiles hit the same place where people died during the previous shelling. Even after that attack, the plant was forced to stop work.

Magomedov noted that the consequences of the Russian strikes are extremely serious.

“When Zaporizhstal will be able to resume work is a big question now. The “Russians” are literally destroying Ukrainian metallurgy,” the deputy wrote. “Once again, at a meeting of the committee with the participation of the full Cabinet of Ministers, I emphasized the critical situation in the mining and metallurgical complex. On August 29, we will continue this conversation at a meeting with the Prime Minister.”
