
Russia struck Chernihiv again. The city was attacked by drones on the night of May 25 and in the morning. The attacks also covered several districts – Koryukivka, Semenivka and the communities of Novgorod-Siverska and Ripkynska. Two women were injured, houses, outbuildings and a car were damaged.
The details of the next raid were published by the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration. From the evening of May 24 to the morning of May 25, the Russians consistently hit different parts of the region with drones. In Chernihiv itself, a private house was damaged: two women – 39 and 44 years old – turned to doctors. In the morning, an outbuilding caught fire due to a strike by a drone. Another drone fell near a private yard.
“Since the evening of May 24, the Russians have been attacking Chernihiv with drones. A private house has been damaged. Two women, aged 39 and 44, have sought medical attention. In the morning, a farm building caught fire due to a UAV strike. Another drone fell near a private yard,” wrote the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.
In Koryukivka, firewood caught fire near a private home as a result of a drone strike. A Molniya-type jet drone hit the village of Snovska community in Koryukiv region – housing was damaged there. An FPV drone attacked Semenivka. A car and a home were damaged there. In the villages of Novgorod-Siverska and Ripkynska communities, dry grass was burning due to drone attacks.
The regional military administration also added that “during last week, May 18-24, defense forces in the region neutralized 437 Russian attack drones.”
