Russia attacked Chernihiv region with “Geraniums”: grain hangars and houses burned

The Chernihiv region was under intense Russian shelling on January 24. A total of 41 shelling and 70 explosions were recorded in different areas of the region.

This was reported by the Chernihiv regional military administration.

In the morning, private residential buildings were damaged in one of the villages of the Nizhyn district as a result of an explosion of a Russian drone. In a village of the Chernihiv district, the Russians launched several strikes with “Geranium” type drones on the territory of an agricultural cooperative.

As a result of the attack, a grain storage hangar caught fire, and five trucks were also damaged.

Late in the evening, two explosions were heard in Novgorod-Siverskyi. The drone strike fell on residential buildings – the homes of local residents were damaged, and the building of one of the enterprises also caught fire. The data on the victims is being clarified.
