On May 24, the Russians shelled four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using mortars, missiles, guided bombs and suicide drones. Despite extensive damage to infrastructure and residential buildings, human casualties were avoided.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
According to him, in Pavlograd, as a result of the mortar and missile attack, an industrial enterprise was damaged, where a fire broke out, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
In addition, the Russians fired a drone at the Dnipro River, where a three-story building caught fire. The fire was also quickly extinguished by employees of the State Emergency Service without civilian casualties.
Intensive strikes continued on the Synelnyk district, where the Russians used drones and guided bombs. The Mezhivska, Novopavlivska and Vasylkivska communities suffered, where a private home, a gas station and an enterprise were damaged.
The Russians did not bypass the Nikopol region, shelling the district center, Marhanetska and Pokrovska communities using FPV drones, artillery and dropping ammunition from UAVs. As a result of the attacks, a multi-storey building and four private homes were damaged, one of which caught fire, which was extinguished by emergency services.
“No deaths or injuries anywhere,” Lysak concluded, emphasizing the absence of human casualties despite the large-scale destruction.
