Russia attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones, damage recorded in three districts

On the night of February 26, the capital of Ukraine was subjected to a missile and drone attack. Damage to residential buildings and fires were recorded in three districts of Kyiv, the fires were extinguished.

At around four in the morning, explosions were heard in Kyiv. According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, the city was attacked by strike drones and ballistic missiles. Air defense forces were working on targets, residents were urged to take shelter.

Chairman Vitaliy Klitschko reported that the effects of the attack were recorded in the Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts.

In the Darnytskyi district, windows and doors in an apartment on the first floor of a nine-story residential building were damaged by the blast wave as a result of falling debris. There was no fire. According to preliminary data, no victims were found.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a garage caught fire due to falling debris. The fire was extinguished at 06:28 on an area of ​​30 square meters.

In the Pecherskyi district, a two-story residential building on the territory of a private estate caught fire as a result of a hit. The fire was extinguished at 06:00 on an area of ​​30 square meters.
