Russia attacked two more territorial recruitment centers with drones, Ukraine reacts

On the morning of July 7, Russia again launched air strikes with drones on the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center – this time in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia.

The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the attack.

According to preliminary data, 11 people were wounded among the servicemen of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, and three people were wounded in the Kharkiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.

Such strikes have become regular. From June 30 to July 7, there were three of them.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the strikes on territorial recruitment centers. In their statement, territorial recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are listed among the targets of the strikes carried out by the aircraft.

On the morning of July 6, the Russian army launched strike drones over the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, hitting the building of the Kremenchuk district military registration and enlistment office. One person was injured.

On July 3, in Poltava, two people were killed and more than 50 were injured as a result of a UAV hitting the buildings of territorial recruitment centers and a residential building in the morning.

During the attack, serviceman Stas Popovych, who had appeared at the Territorial Recruitment Center to sort out his affairs, was killed. Less than a week ago, he resigned from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On June 30, the Russians carried out a suicide attack near the building of one of the regional territorial recruitment and social support centers in Kryvyi Rih.

After the July 6 attack, Vitaly Sarantsev also added that the Russian campaign against military registration and enlistment offices had begun earlier.

“In the form of terrorist attacks on the buildings of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center with a series of bombings and attempts to bring explosive devices there. These three attacks that have occurred on territorial recruitment centers recently – in Poltava, Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchuk – are a continuation of this campaign,” he said.

Information is already coming from the regions that territorial recruitment centers are relocating their premises to prevent damage during such attacks. In particular, such a relocation has already been announced in Vinnytsia.

In Vinnytsia, the regional territorial recruitment and social support center announced that it is temporarily changing the place of reception of citizens due to the security situation.

Due to Russian attacks, security measures have been tightened at the recruitment and social support centers in the Lviv region, in particular, they have increased security vigilance with metal detectors at the entrance, the territorial recruitment center reports.

They have not yet reported a change of address there.
