Russia attacks Kyiv again with “Shaheds”: cars, houses and kindergarten damaged

On the evening of October 22, Russian troops launched a new drone attack on Kyiv. This time, the Podilskyi, Obolonskyi and Desnyanskyi districts of the capital were under attack.

In Kyiv, air defense forces were working on Russian drones. This was reported by Chairman Vitaliy Klitschko and Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko.

In the Podilskyi district, according to preliminary information, fragments of a UAV fell on the roof of a residential building. At another address, fragments fell near a residential building.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, damage was recorded at five locations in the Podilskyi district, including a kindergarten. Five damaged cars are also known.

Information on victims or other damage to infrastructure is being clarified.

In the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, damage to a residential building was recorded by a fragment of a UAV. No victims were reported.

In the Desnyanskyi district, an apartment building was damaged. There were no reports of fire or injuries, Tkachenko wrote.

A Russian drone hit a synagogue in Podil, the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Azman, reported: “An Iranian-Russian drone just hit the synagogue in Podil!!!””.
