On the night of September 3, a Russian air strike damaged one of the main warehouses of the World Health Organization in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region.
The warehouse was storing humanitarian medical supplies. Due to heavy smoke and security considerations, access to the premises is currently restricted.
The WHO is assessing the extent of the damage and possible loss of medical supplies. There are no injuries among the organization’s employees.
Due to the security situation, only limited amounts of humanitarian medical supplies were previously stored in the warehouse.
