Russia Destroys 800,000 Ukrainian books during the shelling of Kyiv

As a result of the massive Russian attack on the Kyiv region on the night of July 2, the central warehouse of the logistics complex Denka Logistics, where the BookChef publishing house’s products were stored, was completely destroyed. According to preliminary estimates, about 800,000 books were lost.

This is the result of many years of work by authors, translators, editors, designers, printers and logisticians. Despite the large-scale losses, the most important thing is that all employees remained alive.

Due to the loss of the warehouse, BookChef temporarily suspended promotions with partner stores and warned of possible delays in processing and sending orders while the company restores logistics and organizes reprinting of books.
