Russia drops guided bombs on nine-story building in Myrnograd: entrance destroyed, there are casualties

On the night of May 1, the Russian army attacked Myrnograd and Novoekonomichne in Donetsk region, killing two civilians. One of the bombs hit a high-rise building, killing a 43-year-old woman. Another shelling killed a 51-year-old man in Pokrovskyі district.

This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

At around 00:30, Russian troops dropped three KAB-250 bombs from the UMPK on the city of Myrnograd. One of the bombs hit a nine-story residential building. As a result of the collapse of the structures, a 43-year-old woman who was in her apartment died.

At 06:30, the Russians shelled the village of Novoekonomichne in Pokrovsky district. As a result of the attack, a 51-year-old man died, and another local resident received shrapnel wounds.

At least 9 multi-storey buildings and other private homes were damaged.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The authorities urge citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to be vigilant.
