Russian troops killed 510 children in Ukraine and injured another 1,143 children.
This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General: “More than 1,653 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of November 5, 2023, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 510 children died and more than 1,143 were injured of various degrees of severity.”
The data is not final. Work on their installation in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, continues.
The most affected children were in Donetsk region – 492, Kharkiv region – 304, Kherson region – 132, Kyiv region – 129, Zaporizhzhia region – 99, Mykolaiv region – 97, Dnipropetrovsk region – 96, Chernihiv region – 72, Luhansk region – 67.
On November 4, two 7-year-old children were injured as a result of shelling by the Russians in the Myrhorod district of the Poltava region.
The head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the National Police, Vasyl Bohdan, said that in Ukraine during a full-scale war, on average, one child is killed every day, two are injured, and three children go missing.
