For the fourth night in a row, the Russians have been inflicting devastating blows on energy facilities in the Odessa region.

This is the sixth attack in the past 2.5 weeks. Late on March 6, the energy facility suffered significant damage. The company also reported that power engineers are working around the clock to repair the equipment.
Yesterday, DTEK reported that they had restored electricity to 109,000 homes where it was technically possible. However, almost 20,000 homes were left without electricity.
On the night of March 7, Russia launched a combined attack on the territory of Ukraine. In the morning, the Russians directed cruise missiles at the Podilskyi district in the Odessa region. As a result of falling debris, a fire broke out in a private residential building. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. A total of 16 houses were damaged. No casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, the regional prosecutor’s office notes that at least 10 private houses in the suburbs of Odessa were damaged and destroyed due to the suicide attack. Outbuildings, a gas pipeline, and cars were damaged. More than 2,500 local residents were left without electricity.
Chornomorsk, in particular, was attacked. More than 30 houses in the city were damaged, according to the city’s mayor, Vasyl Gulyayev. There were no casualties.
The city of Pivdenny remains without electricity since the attack the day before yesterday. The city will be without electricity for another 5 days. The Russians destroyed the main transformer there, the city council reported. On March 7, they will try to switch Pivdenny to another power line to supply electricity to critical infrastructure. Then it will be possible to start heating, water, and sewage treatment plants.
