Russia continues large-scale looting in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Russian propagandists openly say that the “new regions” have replenished their grain reserves.
According to the Center of National Resistance, 2.5 million tons of new harvest wheat have already been exported to Russia from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. At the same time, Kremlin propagandists do not hide this and say that the “new regions” have brought them grain reserves despite the drought.
The export of the Ukrainian harvest is accompanied by the occupation authorities’ full control over agricultural enterprises and blocking local farmers’ access to their own products.
“Russia is using food resources in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine as a military trophy and a tool of pressure. Such actions are a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a sign of a war crime,” the Center of National Resistance emphasized.
In the Donetsk region, 28 fires broke out on farmland and agricultural enterprises due to Russian aggression. As a result, 178 hectares of wheat were destroyed, which is a serious loss for the region’s food security.
