On May 19, the Russians hit one of the checkpoints where police and National Guardsmen are on duty with a Molniya drone. As a result of the strike, two policemen and three National Guard servicemen suffered concussions.
This was reported by the regional police chief Petro Tokar.
He also added that the explosion, equivalent to three to five kilograms, caused a shock wave, due to which all law enforcement officers who fell into the strike zone have acubarotraumas with all the attendant consequences. Tokar suggested that this could be damage to the central nervous system and malfunction of internal organs.
At the same time, the police chief noted that all the victims were provided with first aid and their lives are not in danger.
On May 20, a woman was injured in the village of Lukashovo, Chuguiv district, after stepping on an explosive object. She was hospitalized. Thus, a 62-year-old local resident had previously stepped on a PFM-1 anti-personnel mine [anti-personnel high-explosive mine] “Petal”. As a result of the explosion, the woman received a mine-explosive injury to her foot and was hospitalized.
