Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv: local residents were killed

The troops of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. As a result of the fall of the rocket debris on the territory of the city, two people were killed, another was seriously injured.

City chairman V. Klychko reported that two people died as a result of falling debris in the Shevchenko district of Kyiv. Another one was injured.

Klitschko added that in the Shevchenkiv district of the capital, on another call, medics hospitalized one victim. She is a twenty-four-year-old girl. She received cuts from glass shards.

A little later, the chairman added that the fire and rescue services continue to work at the places where the debris fell. In particular, in the Darnytskyi district. And in four places in the Shevchenkiv district of the capital.

He also added that two people were injured and hospitalized.

Even later, the Kyiv City Military Administration noted that three people were still wounded.

A fire broke out at the scene. Russian troops do not stop attacking Kyiv and on the night of August 30 another shelling of the capital was carried out. However, the reliable work of our air defense forces did not allow the Russian Federation to strike targets in the capital.

This was reported by Mykola Kalashnyk, acting head of the Darnytskyi district state administration in the city of Kyiv. According to him, part of the downed aerial target hit the building of the shopping center.

“Debris in the Darnytskyi district hit the building of the Aushan shopping center on Zdolbunivska Street. Another brigade of firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and eliminated the consequences of the fire,” the report says.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the Russian night attack on the capital. It is known that some objects were damaged after falling debris.

“The roof was destroyed, the remains of the rocket in the interior, the investigative team is working,” Kalashnyk wrote.

At the same time, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that in the Fastiv and Buchan districts of Kyiv region, as a result of the night attack, there were fires and the destruction of residential buildings, as well as the burning of the grass floor. All fires have already been extinguished.

A resident of Kyiv, whose apartment was damaged during the rocket attacks, said: “Literally instantly, there was an explosion, after which the windows were broken. Glass fragments are lying all over the apartment. Even the entrance door was broken. I was not asleep at the time of the explosion.”

Another resident of the affected building said that the explosion was so strong that the balcony panel in his apartment flew off.

“Thank God that it was stopped by a concrete wall, because the couch where my parents sleep is directly opposite it. The windows inside the apartment also flew out. A missile fragment got stuck in the window of my room,” said the Kyiv resident.

The house of the 76-year-old pensioner Roman was also damaged during the rocket attacks.

“There was an explosion, they jumped up, and immediately there was a second flight. As a result, the balcony was completely blown away, the windows in the kitchen and bedroom were also broken. Russians are pigs. People don’t do that. There was no military facility here – only a recreation area,” – said the man.

Kyiv was damaged during the night attack. More than 20 targets were shot down over the city. Due to falling debris, two people died in the capital, and three others were injured. Also, due to the fall of the remnants of the rockets, destruction and fires occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi and Darnytskyi districts.

According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian defenders of the sky managed to destroy all 28 cruise missiles launched by the enemy. Air defense forces also landed 15 out of 16 drones.

On the night of August 30, the Kyiv region was massively attacked by Russian attack UAVs and missiles. Falling debris was recorded in nine settlements of Buchanskyi, Obukhivskyi and Fastivskyi districts. Three people were injured. Two people have minor cuts, a woman born in 1954 has burns all over her body.

As a result of falling debris, 13 private houses, a school (glass and roof were broken), three garages, two cars, and one state communication institution were damaged.

Three grass fires were recorded.

All fires have been extinguished. Fixation of damages continues, the report says.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office opened a case due to damage caused by the attack. Emergency services are working at the crash sites. Due to the fall of downed drones and Shaheds during the night attack, there is damage in the Kyiv region. Three districts were affected. It is also known about three injured people.

Andriу Nebytov, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region, spoke about the consequences of the attack. According to him, private houses were damaged in one of the districts of the region. Also, fragments of a Russian rocket fell on the territory of the local cemetery, the fire was quickly extinguished by rescuers of the State Emergency Service.

In another settlement of the district, a two-story building was damaged due to an attack by the Shaheds. Rescuers are localizing the fire.

More than 6 private houses were damaged in another district of Kyiv region. Here, a 69-year-old woman received burns due to a house fire. The 43-year-old and 49-year-old men also have minor cuts. Garages and two cars were destroyed.

As a result of the attack, in another district of Kyiv region, private estates were damaged – roofs and windows were mutilated. The grass floor also caught fire, the rescuers managed to quickly localize the fire.

Emergency services are working at the crash sites. The police are conducting an inspection and recording the consequences of the nighttime enemy attack.

“Once again, I call on citizens not to ignore air warning signals, but to go to bomb shelters in a timely manner, your health and life depend on it. When discovering explosive objects, do not touch the finds, limit access to them by outsiders and children, immediately report to line 102,” he reminded Nebytov.

Due to the damage caused by the attack, the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office started a pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Experts and investigators continue to record the consequences of yet another war crimes committed by the Russian army.
