Russia launched ballistic missiles at Odessa region – grain storage damaged

On the morning of September 4, 2025, the Russians fired two ballistic missiles at Odessa region. The strike hit a civilian facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district.

The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into war crimes.

This is stated in a statement by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

An air alert signal was sounded in Odessa and the region today at 10:41 on September 4. Monitoring Telegram channels reported the ballistics towards the Izmail district (Tuzly/Primorske). Explosions were heard in the region shortly after.

According to the prosecutor’s office, as a result of this attack, the property of the farm was damaged, namely – grain storage facilities. A 53-year-old man was injured – he was hospitalized.

Under the procedural leadership of the Bilhorod-Dniester District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched, the department added.
