Russia launches another massive strike on Kyiv: aftermath of the overnight attack

Overnight into September 24, Russian forces attacked Kyiv. Destruction, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure were reported in several districts of the capital. Preliminary data indicates that two people were killed and at least eight others were injured in the attack.

In the Solomianskyi district, warehouse buildings were destroyed and a fire broke out; three injured individuals were hospitalized.

In the Podilskyi district, four cars caught fire near a maternity hospital, where the body of a deceased person was also found. Additionally, emergency crews extinguished a fire in a non-residential building.

In the Dniprovskyi district, an administrative building was damaged, and an injured person was found there. A private house was also destroyed, with one person rescued; two neighboring houses sustained damage.

As of 8:00 a.m. on September 24, a 57-year-old woman in the Podilskyi district and a 65-year-old man in the Solomianskyi district are confirmed dead. Eight people have been injured. All necessary emergency services are currently working at the sites.
