Russia launches massive attack on Kherson region, killing and injuring people

On July 27, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Kherson region, using aircraft, drones, and artillery. Three civilians were killed and 10 more were injured in the Russian attacks.

Russian shelling affected Antonivka, Priozerne, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Kizomys, Dniprovske, Veletenske, Tomina Balka, Romashkove, Znamenka, Rozlyv, Dar’ivka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Vysoke, Urozhayne, Rakivka, Kucherske, Novoraysk, Kostyrka, Borozenske, Zolota Balka, Ukrainka, Sahaidachne, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Petropavlivka, Tyahynka, Myrolyubivka, Kachkarivka, Burgunka, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Respublikanets, Tomarine, Tryfonivka, Kozatske and the city of Kherson.

Critical and social infrastructure facilities, as well as residential areas of the region, were damaged as a result of Russian attacks.

In particular, the following were damaged: three multi-storey buildings; eight private residential buildings; cultural institution; private cars.

According to the regional military administration, the Russian aggression claimed the lives of three people, and another 10 residents of the region were injured to varying degrees.
