Russia strikes a market in Lozova, Kharkiv Region: two dead, over 30 wounded

According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Russia struck a market in the town of Lozova, Kharkiv Region, killing two women, aged 50 and 60. Another 34 people were wounded.

The strike damaged commercial facilities, apartment buildings, private homes, and passenger vehicles. A fire broke out in one of the shops.

Around lunchtime, when the area was crowded with people, the Russians cynically targeted the Central Market in Lozova. It was a deliberate, targeted strike against civilians. Commercial pavilions, private homes, apartment buildings, shopping centers, a church, and vehicles were damaged.

Although Lozova is geographically located in the Kharkiv Region, it lies just a few dozen kilometers from the positions of Ukrainian forces defending Kramatorsk—a city in the Donetsk Region that the Russian army has been attempting to capture, along with the neighboring city of Sloviansk, for many months.
