Russia strikes Chernihiv region: one dead and destruction

Civil infrastructure facilities damaged.

On March 9, Russian troops struck Chernihiv region with artillery, mortars and attacked with FPV drones. The National Police of Ukraine reported on the consequences.

A 59-year-old local resident died in the village of Snovska community of Koryukiv district. In the border communities of this and Novgorod-Siversky districts, outbuildings and houses were damaged and destroyed.

Five residential buildings in Pryluky district were also damaged as a result of the drone attack.

At the end of February, Russian troops launched drones and fired mortars at Semenivka. A transport infrastructure facility in the city was damaged. The Russians also dropped unknown explosive devices from drones on the village of Zarechye and damaged a residential building there. Fortunately, no people were injured.
