Russia strikes Kherson — policeman and service dog injured

On the afternoon of February 9, Russian troops struck the Kherson region. Five people were injured as a result of the attack, including a law enforcement officer and a service dog.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A police dog handler and a service dog were injured as a result of the shelling.

The law enforcement officer was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his hands and face, and the dog with shrapnel wounds was taken to a veterinary clinic.

Four more people, including an 11-year-old boy, were injured to varying degrees of severity.

On the night of February 9, explosions were heard in Kherson.
