Russia strikes Odesa: there are casualties, power outages in parts

An infrastructure facility and residential buildings were damaged in the city. On the night of Monday, January 12, Russian troops attacked Odesa. As a result, power outages occurred in parts of the city. Among the damaged facilities were residential buildings.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak. According to him, after the night attack on the city, an infrastructure facility and residential buildings were damaged.

In part of the Peresypskyі district of Odesa, power supply was temporarily lost – specialists are already working on restoring it. Heat, water supply and sewage are functioning normally.

An operational headquarters has been deployed at the site of the attack, where residents can apply for compensation. A heating point has also been deployed. International organizations have been involved. Utility workers are closing the broken windows.

“Preliminarily, two people were injured,” Lysak said.
