Russia strikes Odessa region: three injured, zoo director’s house destroyed

Russian troops attacked Odessa region with drones on the night of May 16. As a result of the Russian attack, houses and cars were destroyed, three people were injured.

According to the State Emergency Service, the attack destroyed private residential buildings, outbuildings, and a garage with three cars. Fires broke out, which have already been extinguished.

According to preliminary information, three people were injured and hospitalized.

The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, clarified that the Russians struck the Odessa and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky districts at night. According to him, one man, after receiving medical assistance, continues outpatient treatment, another wounded person is in moderate condition, and the injured woman is in extremely serious condition.

In addition, it is known that a Russian drone destroyed the house of the director of the Odessa Zoo in the village of Ovidiopol near Odessa. The man was not injured, but his pets were in danger – some were lost in the explosion.
