Russia strikes port infrastructure in Mykolaiv: civilian vessel damaged

On the afternoon of August 17, Russian troops struck port infrastructure in the Mykolaiv region with a Shahed drone. The attack damaged a civilian vessel.

According to preliminary data, there were no civilian casualties as a result of the Russian shelling.

According to the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Georgy Reshetilov, on the afternoon of August 17, the Russians attacked the port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region with a Shahed drone. A civilian vessel was damaged. No casualties were reported.

The Russians continue to systematically attack the port and logistics infrastructure of the southern regions of Ukraine, striking civilian facilities and vessels.

Thus, on July 27, Russian troops attacked the port infrastructure of the Mykolaiv region with a Shahed drone. As a result of the strike, a civilian vessel was damaged, but, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

Also, while leaving the port of Odesa region, a civilian vessel under the flag of Palau was attacked twice, carrying almost 2.8 thousand tons of corn. As a result of the hits, a fire broke out on the vessel. According to preliminary information, seven crew members and a Ukrainian pilot were rescued.

In total, 124 strikes on seaports, vessels at berths and in the Ukrainian sea corridor were recorded in July.
