Russia strikes Sumy. There are dead and seriously injured

On the afternoon of May 14, the Russian army launched a missile strike on an industrial facility in the city of Sumy. The casualties and wounded are already known.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, three people were killed one of the men died at the scene. Another, in critical condition, did not make it to the hospital. The third victim died at the hospital. Nine others were wounded as a result of the shelling. Two of them are in serious condition.

The deceased were 36, 29 and 41 years old.

“Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased,” the regional military administration reported.

On the afternoon of May 14, an air alert was announced in a number of regions of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat of the use of ballistic weapons in the regions where an air alert was declared.

During the alert, an explosion thundered in Sumy.

Later, Acting Chairman Artem Kobzar said that the explosion was caused by a Russian strike on an industrial infrastructure facility.
