On the night of July 19, Russian troops carried out another combined strike on the Kyiv region, as a result of which warehouse and logistics facilities suffered serious damage.
According to the report of the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Mykola Kalashnyk, large-scale fires broke out at the sites of the hits, and emergency services were eliminating the consequences of the attack all night.
Under the attack were enterprises and warehouse complexes, where fires broke out over significant areas. The blast wave also damaged production facilities, administrative buildings and other civilian infrastructure. Units of the State Emergency Service, police, medics and emergency crews, who worked at several locations at once, were immediately involved in the elimination of the consequences.
According to preliminary data, there are casualties as a result of the attack. Medics provided necessary assistance to people who were injured, and rescuers conducted an examination of damaged buildings to make sure that no one was left under the rubble. The authorities continue to clarify the scale of the destruction and the amount of damage.
The main blow fell precisely on civilian logistics and warehouse facilities that ensure the operation of enterprises in the region. After the rescuers completed their work, special commissions began working on the ground to record the damage and assess the possibility of rapid restoration of the infrastructure.
The Ukrainian authorities once again called on residents not to ignore air raid sirens, as Russia continues to carry out massive attacks on civilian infrastructure. The final data on the consequences of the night strike is still being clarified, as emergency services continue to work at the sites of the hits.
