Russia struck the Sumy region: there are dead and wounded

Civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Russian troops do not stop shelling the border settlements of the Sumy region. On the morning of May 29, the Russians attacked the urban-type village of Krasnopill. There are wounded and dead, said acting head of the Krasnopil community Iryna Yukhta.

The Russians hit the center of the village, between the administrative building and the cultural center. According to preliminary information, two people died, three more residents were injured.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, air defense forces destroyed a Russian missile in the sky above the Sumy Region.

The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, noted that the Russian army keeps certain of its units and equipment near the Ukrainian border in the Sumy region.
