During the week of April 27-May 3, Russian troops launched 15 strikes on 11 gas stations in Kharkiv. Almost all attacks were on gas stations installed at gas stations.
According to chairman Igor Terekhov, the Russians are using “V2U” type drones with artificial intelligence, pre-configured specifically for gas stations, for attacks.
“There is no panic, all gas stations that are not damaged are working, cars can refuel,” said Terekhov.
The chairman stressed that caution is needed. He also noted that gas station owners need to take certain steps to close gas stations installed at these gas stations, since almost all attacks were on them.
“It is very important that there is protection, this is not the prerogative of the city council, this is the regional military administration together with the military, but the owners of gas stations should also protect their gas stations, this is very important,” Terekhov noted.
He recalled that the Russians carried out strikes on the railway, on transformer substations, on critical infrastructure. Terekhov added that “the turn has come for gas stations.”
On the morning of May 1, Russian troops attacked five districts of Kharkiv with drones. Hits were recorded at gas stations, there are casualties.
According to the State Emergency Service, the Russians attacked five gas stations. Fires broke out at two of them, in the Slobidskyi district of the city and in Chuhuiv, which were quickly extinguished.
On May 2, a series of drone strikes were again recorded in Kharkiv, in particular on gas stations in several districts. Seven people were injured as a result of the attacks in at least six districts of the city.
