
On December 8, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia and the city of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.
One of the strikes hit the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the attacks in Zaporizhzhia and Vilniansk, 15 people were injured, including four people in serious condition. The victims were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds, fractures and explosive injuries. The injured were taken to hospitals.
The press service of the Zaporizhzhia City Council said that six apartment buildings and a dormitory were damaged in Zaporizhzhia.
According to the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region, Russian aircraft dropped three guided bombs on Zaporizhzhia and one on Vilniansk.
The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine added that rescuers pulled one person from under the rubble. 15 houses were damaged in Vilniansk.
