Russian airstrike on Kupyansk: three people may be under the rubble

In Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, a residential building was hit as a result of a Russian airstrike, people may be under the rubble, the regional police reported.

“On August 5, from 04:30 to 05:00, the Russians launched strikes with guided aerial bombs on the city. There were hits on a residential building. According to local residents, at the time of the impact, there were people in the basement of the building, hiding from the constant shelling. The impact caused the collapse of the floor slabs. Three civilians – two women and one man – may remain under the rubble,” the report says.

The police added that they had opened a criminal case under the article on war crimes, and called on civilians who still remain in dangerous areas of the Kharkiv region to evacuate.
