Russian army drones strike Sumy region border, there are casualties

On December 9, Russian troops struck two communities in Sumy region. Two people died as a result of Russian shelling.

It is known that in the Myropil community, a Russian army drone targeted a civilian car. A 73-year-old man who was in the car died as a result of the attack.

Another UAV strike was recorded in the Krasnopil community. The drone hit a car in which two people were.

Both were injured, but the life of the 61-year-old man could not be saved – he died from his injuries. Grigorov added that the injured passenger was hospitalized, and doctors are providing her with assistance.

“Staying in border communities remains extremely dangerous. The Russians are targeting civilian transport, creating direct threats to people’s lives. It is possible to safely leave these territories only through organized evacuation in armored vehicles,” the head of the regional military administration emphasized.
