Russian army drops air bombs on Zaporizhzhia: residential buildings hit and wounded

On the night of December 24, Russian troops again launched an air strike on Zaporizhzhia. At least three guided air bombs were dropped on the city. As a result of the attack, residential areas were hit, fires broke out, and civilians were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov and the State Emergency Service. According to the head of the regional military administration, the strikes fell on the regional center, a residential building was previously damaged. Garages and parked cars caught fire as a result of the explosions. Rescuers, medics, and other emergency services worked quickly at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and clarify the extent of the damage.

On the morning of December 24, Ivan Fedorov reported three casualties. Two women aged 75 and 35, as well as a 46-year-old man, sought medical attention.

Later, the State Emergency Service clarified that the number of injured had increased to four. The women aged 75, 66 and 35, and a 46-year-old man, were injured. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care, and information about the condition of the people and the consequences of the attacks continues to be clarified.
