On April 9, the Russians launched an artillery attack on the village of Bachivsk in the Sumy region. A group of energy workers came under fire.
This is reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The department noted that the “Sumyoblenergo” operational brigade came under artillery fire from the side of the border with the Russian Federation.
“Five workers left to repair the power transmission line damaged as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation at a distance of about 3.5 km from the border with the aggressor country,” the Ministry of Energy writes.
All the necessary permits for restoration work have been obtained from the military and local self-government bodies. None of the energy workers were injured, but the brigade’s car suffered numerous damages.
