Around 11:00, the Russians struck the center of Kurakhovo. According to preliminary data, they attacked with barrel artillery.

“Russian shells hit one of the local supermarkets, where civilians were at the time. Four local women aged 25 to 66 were injured by landmines and bruises, one of them was pulled out from under the rubble,” the report said.

Another ammunition hit the administrative building, near which two cars caught fire. A critical infrastructure object, windows and facade of an apartment building were also damaged.

Currently, an investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war.

The situation in Donetsk region

Every day, the Russians open fire on the cities and villages of the Donetsk region. Front-line settlements in the region, and even those located in the relative rear, are constantly under attack.

Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shelled Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Toretsk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the Russian attack, four people were injured.

Under the guise of “rehabilitation from the horrors of war”, the Russians will take 400 Ukrainian children from Donetsk region

In September, the Russians plan to take 400 young Ukrainian men and women from the temporarily captured areas of the Donetsk region. The children will allegedly be sent for “rehabilitation from the horrors of war” to six regions of the Russian Federation, temporarily occupied by Sevastopol and Crimea.

In order to take the children out, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation instructed the controlled structures to provide free transport. They will be sent for “rehabilitation” as part of the implementation of the “humanitarian mission under the project “Children are our future”, which is implemented by the charitable foundation “Saving Childhood” (Russian name “Save Childhood”) together with the administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Sports and the so-called “Ministry of of sports and tourism of the DPR”.

Thus, Ukrainian children will be taken to six Russian regions (50 people in each):

– the republics of Adygea and Kalmykia;

– Krasnodar Territory;

– Astrakhan, Vologda and Rostov regions.

In addition, 50 children each will be sent to temporarily occupied Sevastopol and Crimea. According to the foundation, the children there will train and undergo “rehabilitation from the horrors of war.”

“The main activity of the “Saving Childhood” charitable foundation is to provide assistance to children with autism spectrum disorder who live in the territory of the Moscow region and in Yaroslavl. This is what it was doing until 2022. At the same time, in July 2022, it began to take Ukrainian children from the occupied territories to the Russian Federation,” the publication notes.

When removing the children, the Russian authorities immediately make every effort to hide their whereabouts. In particular, they are immediately granted citizenship of the Russian Federation, constantly relocated and given to families for upbringing, changing their names. In addition, Russians have a great influence on the minds of young Ukrainians: after spending only a few months on the territory of the Russian Federation, they return with major psychological problems.
