On the night of September 17, Russia again struck a complex blow to the railway infrastructure. Due to the power outage on the Dnipro direction, delays in the movement of a number of trains are expected.
This was reported by the chairman of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertsovsky.
According to him, delays are already being recorded on the following routes: Lviv–Zaporizhzhia–Pavlograd, Zaporizhzhia, Pavlograd–Lviv, Kyiv–Kryvyi Rih and Lviv–Dnipro. “Other trains may be added to this list. Follow the updates on the uz-vezemo.uz.gov.ua service,” he noted.
To minimize the consequences of the attack, Ukrzaliznytsia has already prepared reserve locomotives, and locomotive crews have set off on the routes.
“Our goal remains the same – to get every passenger to their destination. We are doing everything we can to reduce delays,” Pertsovskyі emphasized.
