Russian attack on Ivano-Frankivsk region on November 19: three people were injured, including two children

Three people were injured, including two children, as a result of the Russian air attack on Ivano-Frankivsk region on November 19. Damage to a civilian house was recorded in the region, and residents are being warned about possible residues of dangerous elements after the use of Shahed.

The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional military administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, reported on the consequences of the night attack.

“A difficult night for Prykarpattia. The Russians once again struck our region, using various types of weapons. The target was energy infrastructure facilities. According to preliminary data, three people were injured in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, including two children. They are being provided with the necessary medical care,” the head of the regional military administration noted.

Damage to one private household was also confirmed.

The Rohatyn community has published an official appeal regarding the potential threat from dangerous elements. According to the report:

“Information has been received about the possible detection of dangerous elements similar to cluster munitions that could have been dropped from Russian “Shahed” UAVs,” the community’s appeal states.

Residents are urged not to approach suspicious objects; not to touch or move them; to immediately notify the State Emergency Service or the police.

“Take care of your own safety and warn others! Take care of yourself,” the community’s page states.

Situation in Ivano-Frankivsk

The chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, confirmed that there were no hits in the city.

“There were no hits or debris in Ivano-Frankivsk,” he said.
